I was born in the French Acadian community of Clare on the South-Western shore of Nova Scotia.  I grew up with three brothers and a sister. I spent most of my youth playing with friends and cousins, working on a ranch, and playing a wide variety of sports.  I graduated from École secondaire de Clare in 1983, obtained my B.Ed. from Université Sainte-Anne in 1991, and my M.Ed from Mount Saint Vincent University this passed summer. I am continuing my education and am currently in the process of obtaining my Certification in Math Teaching through Acadia University.

After graduating in 1991, I immediately moved to British Columbia to start my teaching career.  I moved back to the East coast in 2005 and have been teaching at Central Kings since 2006.  I have always taught at the Middle School level.  I enjoy the energy and the challenges of this age group.
I also enjoy relaxing at my house by the beach, reading, grilling, playing guitar, technology, playing golf, and working out at the gym.
